Born at Northport, Mich.; grad. from Haskell Institute, Lawrence, Kansas as a tailor; taught tailoring at Haskel and other U.S. Indian School. Went in business as a tailor in Traverse City, 1909-1914, removed to a farm near Omena for health. Took courses at Moody Bible Institute, Chicago and practiced as a local preacher for the Methodist Episcopal Church from 1906. Died in 1925.
